Situated on the south-east side of the city some two miles from the centre, Stoneygate is a mainly residential suburb with large Victorian and Edwardian houses. In 1978 it was designated The Stoneygate Conservation Area to protect the character and appearance of the suburb.

Stoneygate is serviced by two local shopping and leisure areas. Allendale Road and Queens Road. Both are home to a wide range of brasseries, bistros and coffee bars together with local supermarkets and other shops.

The travel inks to Leicester City centre are superb and you are only a short walk or ride to the railway station, Leicester University and Victoria Park.

Much of the architecture in Stoneygate is truly stunning and is home to some houses from the ‘Arts & Craft’ period.
